Notice is hereby given that Tami Owens, Election Authority for Newton County, will convene the Resolution and Verification Board for the April 5, 2022 Primary Election at a meeting to be held at 5:00 o’clock p.m. on April 5, 2022, in the County Clerk’s office on the first floor of the Newton County Courthouse in Neosho.
The tentative agenda of the meeting includes: Convening the Board Verify “in Office” Absentee Count Opening of Absentee ballots received through mail Counting Absentee ballots with Optical Scan Machine Hand counting a Randomly Selected Precinct Verification and Certification of election results from the April 5, 2022 Primary Election (Certification at noon on Friday, April 8, 2022) Adjournment Representatives of the news media may obtain copies of this notice by calling: Tami Owens, Newton County Clerk 417-451-8221 Posted March 21, 2022 3:30 p.m. Comments are closed.
