The Newton County Commission is seeking sealed RFPs clearly marked “RFP 2026-25: ”Food Distribution/Services to the Newton County Jail” until 10:00 am Thursday, September 24, 2026, at which The Commission will open and read the RFPs. Sealed RFPs must be received no later than the above deadline and must contain enough comprehensive information for evaluation. Any RFP not received at the appointed time shall be disqualified. Newton County will not accept any postage due mailings or emailed bids. The County Commission reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids. Newton County Commission will accept sealed RFPs clearly marked RFP 2026-17: Public Safety Emergency Radio System until Thursday, 10:00am, July 16th, 2026, at which time The Commission will convene to open and read the bids. A mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will take place Tuesday, May 5th, 2026, at 10:30am at 208 W Coler St, Neosho, MO 64850. Any RFP not received at the appointed time shall be disqualified. Newton County will not accept any collect calls, COD shipments, postage due mailings, or emailed RFPs. The County Commission reserves the right to reject any and/or all RFPs. An addendum is hereby issued to clarify questions that have arisen from RFP 2026-17. New RPP opening date is September 10, 2026, at 10:00 am. Wheelchair access is through the north ramp entrance and throughout the Courthouse via the elevator. Handicap restrooms are located on the third floor.
