After December 1, 2022, the proposed budget may be examined between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. weekdays in the Commissioner’s Office. Interested citizens shall have the opportunity to give written or oral comment at this hearing. Citizens must request to speak to the Commission by 4:00 pm on the Monday prior to the Budget Hearing. Veterans Ceremony Newton County will host an event to honor our Nation’s veterans. November 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. on the main floor of the Courthouse in Neosho. US Navy Veteran and retired District 2 Commissioner Jim Jackson will be the guest speaker. Veterans in attendance will also be recognized. All area veterans and their families along with the public are invited to attend. |
