​NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A budget hearing will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, December 15, 2025, in the office of the Newton County Commission for the purpose of hearing comments on the proposed requested 2026 County Budget.  After December 1, 2025, the proposed requested budget may be examined between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. weekdays in the County Clerk’s Office.  Interested citizens shall have the opportunity to give written or oral comments at this hearing. Citizens must request to speak to the Commission by 4:00 pm on the Wednesday prior to the Budget Hearing.  If you are in need of disability related auxiliary aids or services, contact the County Commission Office at 417-451-8223 or the County Clerk’s Office at 417-451-8221.  To be published in the Neosho Daily News on December 2, 2025.
